WOBBLER ROOM

 

AGE: 1½ - 2 years

 

Your baby is now learning to walk independently and the space and equipment in this spacious room help to encourage the children’s gross and fine motor skills. We have 10 children in this room with a 1:5 staff ratio.

 

 

Activities here focus on play and language. Due to the age profile of the children the activities are adult led. Children’s language skills develop better when they are enjoying an activity such as water play, painting or story time. Staff work at encouraging the children to reach their milestones and activities are planned as appropriate to meet those needs. Some of the activities are table top based but mostly they take place on the floor.
